Adopt

All cats are available for adoption.

All our cats are spayed/neutered, updated on vaccines, tested for disease and microchipped. It's a good idea to spend at least one or two visits before choosing a cat, so you can learn about their purr-sonality and make sure the cat is compatible with you and your living situation.

Once you’ve decided on your kitty, ask any volunteer for an Adoption Application. We will coordinate with the rescue partner that provided the cat.

The approval process by the rescue partner usually takes about 24 hours. Once we receive approval, we will contact you to schedule a time to pick up your new pet. The adoption fee is $150: Most of the fee goes to the rescue group. The remainder goes to Lucky Cat to help us continue providing the best care for the cats while in the shelter.

It is a Happy Adoption Day when someone is taking their new pet home! We celebrate the moment with an Adopters Gift Bag and photo.

Note: If a cat is marked PENDING, it means the cat is on temporary hold. It does not mean it is a done deal. We accept back-up applications on all cats. Click below to view our current adoptable cats.
